Welcome to the official website of Hampton Loade Station on the Severn Valley Railway.

Part of the world famous Severn Valley Railway, Hampton Loade Station is located in the heart of rural shropshire in the spectacular Severn Valley. Its riverside location, picnic areas and many local walks make this a fantastic place to visit for all the family. The station is next to National Cycle Route 45 the 'Mercian Way' making Hampton Loade a great place to break your journey with a picnic or short train ride.

Refreshments and sales shops are available most weekends when the railway is operating.

The Paddock miniature railway (16mm scale) operates most Sundays - visit paddockrailway.uk

YOUR CHANCE to own a unique souvenir of the Spring Steam Gala! We have three full size GWR style departure posters available for sale today. The design has been specially made for this event in 1920s style with the earlier 'Great Western Railway' at the header and interesting 'extras' within the text such as connecting services for Birmingham Snow Hill and omnibus services to Wolverhampton. All times are accurate for the spring steam gala.

Printed on durable PVC and in ex-display condition, we have three of these posters available for £25 each (cash only). They are available to be taken away from 5pm today; able to be reserved in advance. Please comment below if you would like to reserve one to collect later today, or speak to station staff at Hampton Loade.
